• Find any website and make a note of the domain name

• Use the Whois search described below to get contact details for the owner

• Contact them by telephone, email or post - explain that you have 10,000 surplus 'web visitors' that you want to redirect to their site over the next 30 days, with absolutely no strings attached and no comeback on them whatsoever.

So, we have established that there is a market, and using the information provided by Whois.net, it is also easily contactable, or 'easily targeted'.

Web Traffic - An in-demand product ?

As we said earlier, it is inconceivable to think that anyone would create a website and then not want anyone to find or visit it.  To gain traffic through the search engines is becoming more and more fiercely competitive.  It can take months or even years to climb to the top of the search listings, and for 99% of sites this is never going to be an option.  Try a search on Google for the phrase 'web traffic' - today it returns over 27 million results, and only 10 sites appear on the first page.  That's less than 0.00004% of the listings appearing on the first page - so my 1% estimate of sites benefiting from search engine placement above was grossly exaggerated !

Redirection Method : Every day, domain names change hands.  Sometimes they expire and are re-registered by someone else - sometimes they are sold as a going concern.  Either way, if they have built up a regular traffic flow, then the new owner can simply redirect that traffic to sites chosen by him/her.

You don't really need to concern yourself too much with the actual mechanics of it, as with technology as it is, it is all handled automatically by traffic scripts and the like and you will never have to deal with these anyway - we handle that side of things.  Literally millions of visitors every day are taken to visit websites that pay for traffic.

575% Growth in one month !

To answer the question whether 'web traffic' is an in-demand product, I experienced a 575% increase in sales from August 2003 to September 2003. That's a rather simple percentage figure, but to make sure there is no misunderstanding - I sold more than five times as much traffic in September as I did in August !

October's increase was more reasonable, taking into account the higher starting point - but yes, it is very much in demand.
